The interest application forms will now be used for children interested in joining us in 2027 and beyond in order to build our perspective children list. We encourage expecting mothers to complete and return this form.

Our sustainable building is in the beautiful district of West Bay. Its located on the left side of Capt. Reginald Drive (heading towards Conch Point).

Enrollment begins after March 15. 

We accept applicants based on space available after our current student re-enrollment. We make our first round of decisions in mid March, and then, if additional space is available, we will consider applicants on a rolling basis. 

• Toddler applicants must be 18 months by the beginning of the accepted term (Term 1 & Term 2)
• Casa applicants must be 3 by by the beginning of the accepted term                     (Term 1 & Term 2) 
• Kindergarten students must be 5 by September 1 
• Lower Elementary must be 6 years old 
• Upper Elementary must be 9 years old 

Children aged 3- 5 years will be enrolled in our 2nd year of the Casa program. Children aged 5-6 years (5 years before September 1) will be enrolled in our third year of the Casa program (i.e. Kindergarten) which is required as part of the Cayman Islands Primary National Curriculum.

Our children visits allow prospective children to be able to participate in classroom activities and spend time with peers. This is a valuable time to connect with the Montessori West learning spaces and teachers, work with other children, and engage with Montessori materials. These visits also allow your family to gain a sense of our community.

Montessori West is a purpose-built Early Childhood Education Centre through Year 1/Kindergarten  offering children a unique opportunity to learn in a safe, sustainable, and nature-rich environment. We believe children learn best when they can touch, explore, care, create, and connect with the world around them.

Our commitment to sustainability is woven into everyday life. Children participate in caring for our goats and rabbits, growing and harvesting vegetables, and enjoying produce from our garden in school meals. Our nature trail and outdoor learning spaces provide daily opportunities for exploration, discovery, and wonder.

What truly sets Montessori West apart is our commitment to growing with our children. For the 2027–2028 school year, we are expanding our Montessori offering beyond the early years to include Lower Elementary (ages 6–9) and Upper Elementary (ages 9–11).

This expansion gives children the opportunity to continue their Montessori journey within a small, close-knit community, surrounded by familiar relationships, shared values, and a strong sense of belonging.
